Living spaces, including the furniture and all other everyday objects, were converted into a traversable pinhole camera. The room is completely dark; light only falls through a tiny hole in the window onto the large sheet of photo paper mounted opposite to the opening. Furniture in the space disrupt the incident light, leaving white shadows in the photographic image of the outside world. While the camera obscura technique reverses the image, the white shadows are exposed directly and not reversed.
This method combines two different exposure techniques: Simultaneously, the photogram and the photographic image of the camera obscura follow their own optical laws.

Räume – Fotografische Dekonstruktionen
Wohnräume inklusive ihres Mobiliars und der alltäglichen Gegenstände des privaten Lebens werden von mir zu einer begehbaren Lochkamera umgebaut. Dafür wird der Raum verdunkelt, nur durch ein winziges Loch im Fenster dringt Licht auf das der Öffnung gegenüber angebrachte großformatige Fotopapier. Einrichtungsgegenstände die sich im Raum befinden stören das einfallende Licht und hinterlassen in dem fotografischen Abbild der Außenwelt ihre weißen Schattenrisse. Während uns das fotografische Bild, durch die Technik der Lochkamera bedingt, seitenverkehrt und auf dem Kopf stehend erscheint, bilden sich die Schatten direkt und ohne Umkehrung ab.
Diese Arbeit vereint zwei unterschiedliche fotografische Abbildungstechniken. Gleichzeitig folgen Fotogramm und die fotografische Abbildung der Lochkamera ihren optischen Gesetzen.
