In the image series NATURA FACIT SALTUS the focus of my interest is objects from natural processes – from a natural productivity – which seem to take place continuously and evenly. As the result of these ongoing processes, these objects are simultaneously a pause, a fixation of a moment that contains everything that came before, in a nature-poiesis continuum, a phenomenon of continuous (birth) processes, which define our environment and thinking. In these networks of unimaginable combinations emerge force fields of energy concentrations and intensifications. Linear notions of time and space deceive; leaps and multidimensional escapades transpire. These forces are not only intrinsic to all living systems, they are their elemental motor. It is precisely these forces which connect the microcosm and macrocosm and take effect in the future from the past.

In der Bildserie NATURA FACIT SALTUS interessiere ich mich für Objekte aus Naturprozessen – aus einer Naturproduktivität – die sich scheinbar kontinuierlich und gleichmäßig vollziehen. Diese Objekte sind als Ergebnis dieser fortlaufender Prozesse zugleich auch ein Innehalten, ein Fixieren eines Momentes in dem sich alles Vorangegangene eingeschrieben hat – in einem Natur-Poiesis-Kontinuum, einem Phänomen fortlaufender (Geburts-)Prozesse, die unsere Umwelt und unser Denken bestimmt. In diesen Netzwerken unausdenkbarer Kombinationen kommt es beständig zu Kraftfeldern der Energieverdichtungen und Intensivierungen. Lineare Zeit- und Raumkonzeptionen schwindeln, Sprünge und multidimensionale Eskapaden ereignen sich. Diese Kräfte wohnen allen lebenden Systemen nicht nur inne, sondern sind ihr elementarer Motor. Es sind genau diese Kräfte, die Mikrokosmos mit Makrokosmos verbinden und aus der Vergangenheit in die Zukunft wirken.
